Bottles are extremely resistant to rapid changes in temperature, and the GL45 VersaCap® offers the highest temperature rating in the world for a polypropylene cap, 142°C. Borosil's Amber coloration is highly durable and chemically resistant, and will not interfere with the internal chemistry of the bottle due to the fact that the coloration is applied only to the exterior surface. Amber coloration is rated to protect media from light radiation between 300mm and 500mm. Bottles, caps, and pouring rings are fully autoclavable.
