Abdos Radioimmunoassay (Ria) Polypropylene (PP) tubes are cylindrical vials with a rounded bottom and separate cap. These are generally used to measure concentrations of substances, such as antigen concentrations (for example, hormone levels in the blood) without the need to use a bioassay. The PP tubes can accept common acids, alkalis, and solvents at room temperature. PP tubes are fully autoclavable and can withstand 3000 RCF during centrifugation.
